About Azumino Ikeda Vineyard

Grande Polaire was launched in 2003 as Sapporo Breweries’ flagship wine brand, covering everything from grape growing to winemaking, under the concept “Japanese wine connecting people and passions.”

Azumino Ikeda Vineyard is an estate vineyard in Nagano Prefecture’s Japan Alps Wine Valley that grows grapes for Grande Polaire’s top cuvées.

About “Grande Polaire Azumino Ikeda Pinot Noir 2021”

The wine offers notes of black cherry and mushroom, with nuances of ripe plum emerging with air, and attractive silky-smooth tannins.

The label uses layers of color to express the striking natural scenery of Azumino Ikeda, with Mt. Ariake and the Northern Alps viewed from fields at the foothills.
