On Friday, November 15, 2024, Hokkaido Wine Co., Ltd. released three products as the second installment of its nouveau wine, "2024 Otaru Hatsushibori."
Here are the details.
About "2024 Otaru Hatsushibori"
"2024 Otaru Hatsushibori" is Hokkaido Wine's nouveau wine brewed from grapes harvested this year.
Following the two offerings released in the first installment on Thursday, October 24, these three products from the second installment bring the total release to five items.
In 2024, table grapes painstakingly cultivated by numerous grape farmers across Japan, primarily in Hokkaido—starting with "Delaware" harvested in mid-August and continuing through "Niagara" harvested in late October—gathered at the company's winery facility in Otaru City.
The 2024 Hatsushibori is reported to have turned out as wonderful quality wines that vividly express the unique characteristics of each grape variety.
