OMO5 Otaru by Hoshino Resorts will hold “Otaru Canal Wine Cruising” on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from September 6 through November 16, 2025.

Wine lovers can enjoy wine and sushi pairings while watching the city glow in the autumn sunset.

Here are the details.

About “Otaru Canal Wine Cruising”

“Otaru Canal Wine Cruising” is a popular OMO5 Otaru by Hoshino Resorts event where guests enjoy wine and sushi pairings while taking in the city at autumn dusk.

The experience features two wines carefully matched with Otaru sushi and original snacks.

Osa Winery Wine and Sushi Pairings

Guests can enjoy the pairings onboard the boat.

Two wines from Osa Winery, a small winery in Otaru, will be served. The accompanying food comes from Sushi-dokoro Maeda, whose owner is originally from Otaru.

The original set combines seasonal nigiri made with tuna and shellfish with four snacks featuring ingredients such as prosciutto and octopus, creating an Otaru-specific pairing available only through this program.

The wines from Osa Winery are:

■ tabi2024

A dry white wine made from Tabiji, a grape variety that originated in Otaru.

■ MATENI ROSE SPARKLING 2019

A rosé sparkling wine made with 100% estate-grown Zweigelt, suited to special occasions.

Consider spending a luxurious moment with OMO5 Otaru by Hoshino Resorts.
