On April 23, 2023, the "Osaka Wine Fest" was held in Osaka for the first time in four years.

Under clear skies (it was warm enough to get a sunburn), this was the first major event in a long time where people could spend the day without masks.
Both exhibitors and visitors enjoyed a day filled with smiles.
Nearly 80 varieties were on offer, all from highly attractive wineries.
Furthermore, wines that attendees liked after tasting could be purchased by the bottle (after 15:00).
With nearly 3,000 visitors, the fact that it was run without any incidents is truly commendable.
The power of Kansai is formidable—we cannot take our eyes off it!
