Yurarikan in Tomi, Nagano Prefecture will hold the “Oraho Appreciation Festival 2026” over two days, Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5, 2026.
The event is packed with activities for children and adults, including a treasure hunt around the facility, Yurarikan game tickets, a miso-making experience, a wine and beer garden, and an onsen market.
About the Oraho Appreciation Festival
The festival is designed to bring Yurarikan closer to hot-spring users and the local community and help them enjoy the facility in new ways.
Across two days, visitors can take part in activities around the building as well as food, hands-on experiences and shopping, with programs for families and adults alike.
Enjoy Nagano Wine
Yurarikan is a day-use hot-spring facility on a hill surrounded by vineyards in Tomi, Nagano Prefecture.
Its views extend to the Northern Alps, Utsukushigahara and the Yatsugatake range, while open-air baths, large indoor baths and a sauna allow visitors to relax with scenery that changes through the seasons.
The facility also houses a Wine & Beer Museum introducing wines from Tomi and local craft beer.
Visitors can learn about the character of the many wineries in Chikumagawa Wine Valley and the thoughts of their producers while tasting wine and local Oraho Beer.
On Saturday, July 4, programs include a miso-making experience led by local producer Takeda Miso, a wine and beer garden and an arm-wrestling competition, making it a good opportunity to enjoy Nagano wine as well.
