Osaka Airport Winery, a winery located inside the airport, will open a limited-time wombat collaboration POP UP SHOP at Itami Airport from Friday, October 10 through Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
A collaboration-label wine featuring “Wine,” the Guinness World Record-holding oldest wombat, will also be available.
About the POP UP SHOP
Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport), home to Osaka Airport Winery, spans the three cities of Ikeda, Toyonaka and Itami. Because the winery itself is located in Ikeda City, its wines are regarded as products made in Ikeda and are also offered as return gifts for the city’s hometown tax donation program.
In 2022, a collaboration began between Osaka Airport Winery wines and Wine-kun, the Guinness World Record-holding oldest wombat at Satsukiyama Zoo in Ikeda. The first release was sold only at a Satsukiyama Zoo event and at Osaka Airport Winery, and proved so popular that 60 bottles sold out in just one hour.
Since then, second and third collaboration-label wines have been released for fans looking forward to the series.
This time, a wine with a new label and additional new products exclusive to the POP UP SHOP are scheduled for release.
With cooperation from popular Ikeda shops that sell wombat collaboration items and from Satsukiyama Zoo, a wide range of cute wombat goods will also be available.
New Products at the POP UP SHOP
New items planned for the POP UP SHOP include original tote bags, original capsule-toy can badges, Wine label stickers and herbal tea.
Inside Osaka Airport Winery in the central area on the third floor, limited wombat-collaboration POP UP pairing sets and dessert sets are also scheduled to be offered.
