On Friday, August 15, the Gunma Yamaiku DAO will hold an online “Special Q&A Session.”
The event will welcome internationally renowned natural winemaker Hiromu Ooka as a guest speaker.
Here are the details.
About the “Special Q&A Session”
The “Special Q&A Session” is an online event organized by Gunma Yamaiku DAO, a regional co-creation project using idle farmland in Gunma with the goal of developing the area into a natural-wine production region.
The 60-minute program will explore the realities of winemaking and a new future for regional co-creation beginning in Gunma's mountain communities.
Guest Speaker: Hiromu Ooka
The event was planned in response to people who want to hear candid stories about natural wine or who want to become involved in winemaking but do not know where to begin.
Guest speaker Hiromu Ooka is a leading figure in natural wine who has earned strong recognition in both France and Okayama.
Drawing on his experience and philosophy, he will discuss the essence of winemaking and the appeal of a new challenge beginning in the mountains of Gunma.
Participants will receive limited access to a special interview video with Ooka before the event.
The Q&A session will dig deeper into behind-the-scenes stories of his challenges and his winemaking philosophy that could not be fully covered in the video.
This is an online event worth checking out for anyone interested in winemaking.
