On Sunday, October 29, the "4th ONSEN Gastronomy Walking in Maebashi/Akagi Cittaslow" will be held.

This walking event lets you enjoy strolling through Maebashi while experiencing the local gastronomy at the same time.

Here are the details.

About the Walking Event

The "4th ONSEN Gastronomy Walking in Maebashi/Akagi Cittaslow" is an event where participants walk through the natural surroundings of Maebashi, starting and finishing at a roadside station that people rarely visit on foot.

Along the approximately 10-kilometer walking route, five "Gastronomy Points"—including Michi-no-Eki Maebashi Akagi and JINS PARK—are set up, offering a unique program where you can enjoy food and local sake at each location.

Furthermore, after walking through stunning scenic views, you can head to an onsen hot spring.

It is an event where you can fully experience the charm of Maebashi.

Japanese Wine Also Featured!

This walking event will feature five "Gastronomy Points."

It has been announced that an award-winning wine from the Japan Wild Grape Wine Competition, made from grapes grown at the southern foot of Mount Akagi, will make its debut.

In addition, BBQ dishes from bacon made with branded pork nurtured in the rich nature of Mount Akagi in Maebashi City, as well as classic, deliciously addictive fried bread from "Everypan"—a bakery inside JINS PARK that you will want to eat every day—will also make an appearance.

Why not take a leisurely stroll through Maebashi City and embark on a gastronomic journey?
