About the Takeda-no-Sato Nirasaki Fireworks Festival
The festival carries on the traditions of Nirasaki City, known as the birthplace of the Kai Takeda clan.
Before the fireworks begin, the venue hosts a solemn fire-lighting ceremony, a lantern procession forming a fantastical line of lights, and a memorial service for fallen Takeda warriors.
Food stalls begin operating from 15:30, filling the venue with a festive atmosphere.
The main fireworks program features large-scale star mines filling the night sky and draws many visitors every year.
About Paid Viewing Seats
Paid viewing seats allow visitors to enjoy the powerful fireworks from an excellent location directly facing the launch area without worrying about securing a spot in advance.
As an additional benefit for paid-seat guests, a paid tasting of Nirasaki wines has also been confirmed.
Visitors can enjoy a luxurious moment watching fireworks with a glass of wine from one of Nirasaki's acclaimed producers in hand.
A free-invitation program for newlywed couples is also planned.
