Kuradashi Co., Ltd. operates the social good marketplace "Kuradashi."
On August 10, the company began accepting student applications for its social contribution internship "Kuradashi Challenge," scheduled to be held in October in Kyotamba Town, Kyoto Prefecture, and Niki Town, Hokkaido.
This internship also offers the chance to engage with Japanese wine.

About Kurachalle
The social contribution internship "Kuradashi Challenge" (Kurachalle) is an initiative where students interested in food waste issues and regional revitalization visit regions and farmers across Japan as interns to help harvest crops and interact locally, contemplating ways to revitalize primary industries and regional economies.
Through Kurachalle, the initiative aims to create and expand regional related populations, promote local attractions, and provide students with opportunities to learn through hands-on experience.
In addition, travel, lodging, and meal expenses for participating students are covered by the Kuradashi Fund.
As of the end of July 2023, it has been held a total of 26 times.
Get Involved with Wine Grapes!
Continuing from last year, Kurachalle will be held this October in Kyotamba Town and Niki Town.
Plans include harvesting Tamba chestnuts in Kyotamba Town and wine grapes in Niki Town, along with exchanging views with local town hall officials and doing local sightseeing in each region.
For the Kurachalle in Niki Town, activities are planned to take place at the complex winery NIKI Hills Winery, featuring wine grape harvesting, exchange of opinions, and sightseeing.
