From Tuesday, April 29, through Tuesday, May 6, 2025, the “World Sake Festival” will be held at the event hall on the eighth floor of the main building of Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C.
It is a unique event where guests can enjoy alcoholic beverages from more than 40 countries in a variety of styles offered by popular establishments.

About the “World Sake Festival”
The “World Sake Festival” is an event at Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C. featuring alcoholic beverages from approximately 45 countries.
The event will include popular stand bars and well-known establishments, 12 in total over the event period, as well as four sushi restaurants offering dine-in “Sushi Teki,” a pairing of sushi and tequila that has quietly been gaining popularity.
For guests who do not drink alcohol, the dine-in area will also offer non-alcoholic drinks and gelato.
Elsewhere in the venue, wines, whisky, shochu, sake and other beverages will be available for purchase to enjoy at home.
Japanese Wine Is Included Too
Japanese wine will also be available at the “World Sake Festival.”
For example, Neo kaku-uchi liquor shop no.501 in Gaienmae, known for its focus on natural wine and food, will serve Japanese wines including those from Hiroshima’s no.505 winery, along with wines from France, Italy, Canada and elsewhere.
It is a period made for drinks lovers to fully enjoy the appeal of alcoholic beverages.
