On Sunday, October 19, “Makita Sports NEO Mujin — Yamanashi City 20th Anniversary Special” will be held at Yamanashi Civic Hall and the former Nippon Carbon site by the south exit of JR Yamanashi-shi Station.
Along with a star-studded guest lineup, a pop-up “Cellar Wine Bar” featuring Yamanashi wine will also appear.

About Makita Sports NEO Mujin
“Makita Sports NEO Mujin — Yamanashi City 20th Anniversary Special” is an event created by comedian and actor Makita Sports together with his hometown of Yamanashi City to celebrate the city’s 20th anniversary.
Guests including Masahiro Higashide, Sunplaza Nakano-kun & Pappara Kawai, and DJ Yatsui Ichiro will help energize the event.

The event includes many distinctive programs.
At the free-admission venue by the south exit of Yamanashi-shi Station, plans include a world-record challenge using Shine Muscat grapes, a “NEO Dondo-yaki,” and a live performance by Sunplaza Nakano-kun & Pappara Kawai.
At Yamanashi Civic Hall, where a ticket is required, programs include a new Yamanashi City B-class gourmet contest, a short-video grand prix, and the pop-up Cellar Wine Bar.
Eight popular wineries are scheduled to participate: Asahi Yoshu, Cave an, Sainte Neige Wine, Tohshin Yoshu, Murofushi Winery, Yahata Yoshu, Yamanashi Fermentation Industry, and Wine-making Laboratory.
