Morita Co., Ltd. will release three Nenohi liqueurs — White Grape, Red Grape, and White Peach — on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The unique liqueurs use wine grape varieties.
Here are the details.
About the Nenohi Liqueur Series
Nenohi is a sake brand made by Morita, which marks its 360th anniversary in 2025.
At a time when many sake brands use kanji names, Nenohi was created with the hope of making sake feel more approachable.
The Nenohi liqueur series combines daiginjo sake from a brewery on the Chita Peninsula with 360 years of history and carefully selected fruit juice.
The aim is to deliver special moments filled with delicious flavor and surprise, encouraging people to savor the drinks slowly.
Made with Wine Grapes
The newly released Nenohi liqueurs come in three varieties: White Grape, Red Grape, and White Peach.
White Grape uses 50% Chardonnay juice, while Red Grape uses 50% blended juice from Cabernet Sauvignon and Concord, grape varieties familiar to wine fans.
White Peach is also generously made with 30% white peach juice from Yamanashi Prefecture.
All three liqueurs use daiginjo sake.
Why not try these distinctive liqueurs, which should also appeal to Japanese wine fans?
