On Wednesday, November 11, simultaneous sales of "NAGANO Nouveau"—fresh and fruity wines made from grapes harvested just this year—will be held at the 1st floor pop-up corner at Ginza NAGANO.
Visitors can enjoy Ginza NAGANO's unique event.
About NAGANO Nouveau
Ginza NAGANO names new-vintage Nagano wines "NAGANO Nouveau" and sets November 11 each year as the release date. (*This is the release date at Ginza NAGANO. There is no official release date designated for Nagano Prefecture.)
Blessed with favorable weather this year, expectations were high through August for a grape harvest as good as last year's.
Although there were concerns when rainy days continued into September, the weather recovered from October onward, and thanks to the efforts of the growers, good grapes were harvested.
Approximately 30 types of nouveau wines made from grapes including the familiar Niagara and Concord, as well as Chardonnay, Kyoho, Muscat Bailey A, and Seyval, will be featured.
You can enjoy NAGANO Nouveau, which can only be tasted at this time of year.
Enjoy NAGANO Nouveau by the Glass
The sales period for NAGANO Nouveau at the 1st floor pop-up corner runs from November 11 to 23.
At the 2nd floor tasting space, several specially selected varieties of NAGANO Nouveau will be served by the glass on Saturdays and Sundays during the period.
NAGANO Nouveau is a limited-edition product available only during this period.
As there will be no restocks, they encourage visitors to come early so as not to miss this opportunity.
