About the morini Series

The morini series was created by The Yamanashi Nichinichi Shimbun to raise awareness of the need to circulate forest resources and communicate the significance of using wood.

It is moritomirai’s original line of wooden products.

The products were designed by Naoto Fukasawa, a world-renowned product designer from Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture, and are made with FSC-certified cypress wood from Yamanashi.

Orders have opened for three items.

They are the children’s chair “morini suwaru(k),” the stool “morini suwaru(s),” and the wine storage box “morini ireru.”

The “morini ireru” wine box can be used in a variety of ways, including as a storage box or as part of a display.

It holds six 720 ml wine bottles without stacking them.
