About the Süd-Alpen Music Festival

The Süd-Alpen Music Festival is an event where young classical musicians showcase their performances in Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
Stemming from the wish of violinist Akiyo Fujiwara—a native of Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture, currently living in Berlin—to host an event where people can enjoy music alongside the beautiful nature and delicious food of Minami-Alps City, it will be held together with an executive committee organized by citizens and sponsorships from local companies.
In addition to Fujiwara, five young musicians will appear: cellist Hideaki Fujiwara, who also hails from the city; violinist Ryota Kuratomi, an NHK Symphony Orchestra violinist who has won numerous prizes in competitions both in Japan and abroad; Mayuko Ishigami, one of the most prominent and up-and-coming violinists today; and Yukino Kaihara, who resides in Berlin and is active both domestically and internationally as a soloist and chamber musician.
It is a music festival where you can fully immerse yourself in the unique "tones" played by these featured young musicians that can only be heard here.
Get the Luxurious Sets!

As mentioned at the beginning, at "KURURA STORE", festival tickets are now on sale bundled with specialties from Minami-Alps City.
Among them, what we especially recommend to Japanese wine lovers is the set with "Domaine Hide / Sage V.V. 2018".
"Domaine Hide" is a boutique winery in Minami-Alps City that is dedicated to Bailey A, crafting grapes and wine in harmony with the power of nature and the moon.
"Domaine Hide / Sage V.V. 2018" is a "beguiling wine" born from highly rare old Bailey A vines.
Even within Minami-Alps City, this Sage is the only one to reach 57 years of vine age.
It features a flavor of licorice, rare for Bailey A, alongside an earthy, profound depth.
It is characterized by an aroma of dead leaves and nuances of mushrooms similar to Pinot Noir, with a subtle luscious sweetness reminiscent of Merlot.
You can enjoy the taste of a wine where older vines yield greater deliciousness and higher value.
In addition, there is a set with "Sakaki Masamune Daiginjo" from the sake brewery Yokouchi Shuzoten in Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
A set with "Smoked Tofu" from "Kunsei-ya Hibiki", which opened in Minami-Alps City in 2018, is also on sale.
Incidentally, the "Minami-Alps 'Specialties' Special Set", which combines all of these together, is also available for purchase.
It is offered at an advantageous price, so if you are interested, why not check this out as well?
Enjoy Minami-Alps City to the Fullest!
