Here are the details.
About “Midori no Haruniwa — Blessings of Kawasaki”
“Midori no Haruniwa — Blessings of Kawasaki” is an event held at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza’s Lufa Square in collaboration with the National Urban Greenery Kawasaki Fair, a symbolic project marking the city’s 100th anniversary. Its concept is to let visitors “feel spring, the blessings of Kawasaki, and tradition in the heart of the city.”
The event lets visitors experience local agricultural products through taste, traditional aromas through scent, and the beauty of flowers through sight, creating a celebration filled with the appeal of greenery.
A Rare Sparkling Wine Too!
As part of the food and drink program, the Meiji University Wine Project will serve “Kawasaki City 100th Anniversary Sparkling,” produced in collaboration with Kawasaki’s only winery from grape cultivation through vinification.
Only 100 bottles were produced, and the wine will reportedly be available to taste only at this event.
Other offerings include strawberry skewers, strawberry milk, and craft beer from the Wako University Regional Collaboration Project. Visitors can also join university students for a strawberry-skewer-making experience.
The event will also feature hands-on workshops, a live flower auction demonstration, exhibitions, and stage programs.
