Here are the details.
About the “51st Yamagata Tourism and Products Fair”
The “51st Yamagata Tourism and Products Fair” is a regional products event held at the Meitetsu Department Store Main Store.
Visitors will find seasonal cherries with their irresistible balance of sweetness and acidity, along with other appealing Yamagata specialties and popular products such as Yonezawa beef, konjac, and soba.
In addition to two sweets shops making their first appearance, a new Tohoku Waku Waku Marche antenna shop featuring products from all six Tohoku prefectures will also be set up.
Yamagata wine, too!
A total of 38 vendors will take part, offering Yamagata foods, crafts, and other specialties.
The sweets and food from Yamagata are tempting, but the drinks selection is especially worth watching.
Alongside sake such as a 22-bottle Yamagata local sake cup set (180 ml × 22) and Sakata Shuzo’s Jokigen Junmai Ginjo Karakuchi +15 Nagomi Shizuku, Takahata Winery will offer “Takahata Cherry Wine” (500 ml), a gently sweet and fruity wine packed with the sweet-and-tart flavor of cherries.
Other wines from Yamagata Prefecture may also be available.
If you are nearby, why not stop by?
