Koumi Town Hometown Experience Festival in Shimbashi on January 17 to Feature Local Wine!

On Saturday, January 17, 2026, “Experience the Whole Town — A Hometown Festival Where You Can Feel the Atmosphere of Koumi, Nagano” will be held at Meeting Space AP Shimbashi in Minato, Tokyo.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy wine from Koumi.

Here are the details.

About the Event

“Experience the Whole Town — A Hometown Festival Where You Can Feel the Atmosphere of Koumi, Nagano” is an event where visitors can experience the nature, food, people, and culture of Koumi with all five senses.

The event is part of an initiative to propose new relationships between cities and rural communities and to promote regional revitalization and a broader “relationship population.” In particular, it uses food-centered hands-on experiences to bring the appeal of Koumi directly to people living in urban areas.

Wine, Too!

One of the main attractions is the “Ogottso! Marche,” bringing together local specialties and regional foods from Koumi.

Around 10 vendors will offer tastings and sales of rare local ingredients such as kurakake beans and Hakurei mushrooms, tastings from local wineries and sake breweries, craft gin, vegetable juice, roasted sweet potatoes, oyaki dumplings, and more.

The first-vintage wine from Nomans Wine, which grows grapes and makes wine in Koumi, is also scheduled to appear.

It is a valuable chance to discover a new local winery.

Why not stop by?
