If you are drinking Japanese wine, why not use a charming wine glass?
A product recommended for people who feel that way has arrived.
It is Marimekko's glassware series “Syksy.”
Here are the details.
About “Syksy”
Marimekko's “Syksy” glassware series has now joined the home collection.
“Syksy” was designed by Swedish designer Matti Klenell. Drawing on the theme of “nature and weather phenomena,” which appears repeatedly in Marimekko's textile work and art, the collection focuses on “Nordic autumn rain.”
The lineup includes wine glasses, tumbler sets and pitchers that express the nuances of different kinds of autumn rain, from gentle drizzle to powerful downpours, through raised, relief-like three-dimensional surfaces.
A Minimal Presence That Fits Japanese Wine
“The Syksy series brings a sense of stillness and a slightly melancholic atmosphere, giving the items an interesting and unique expression,” says designer Matti Klenell.
With practical, minimalist silhouettes that blend easily into a space, the pieces also have a presence that suits Japanese wine.
Why not enjoy wine by coordinating them with Marimekko tableware printed with iconic patterns?
