Collaboration Wine Between Shirayuri Winery's "L'Orient Wine" and Baby Star Arrives! Sales Start on November 3!

On November 3, the new wine (nouveau) from Shirayuri Winery's "L'Orient Wine" will appear with a limited-edition label.

Amazingly, this wine is a collaboration with Baby Star.

Here are the details.

The 18th Baby Star Collaboration

Baby Star is developed by The Oyatsu Company, Ltd.

Marking its 65th year, Baby Star's commemorative 18th collaboration features "L'Orient Muscat Bailey A 2023" and "L'Orient Koshu 2023," nouveau wines crafted by Shirayuri Winery from this year's harvested grapes.

The fresh flavor of "L'Orient Nouveau" makes it an "everyday wine" that can be easily enjoyed with familiar snacks.

Embodying Shirayuri Winery's desire for people to enjoy wine more casually in daily life—requiring neither wine glasses nor special dishes—these wines are sold with original limited-edition Baby Star labels that suggest pairings with winery-recommended Baby Star snacks.

Pairings with Baby Star

Detailed descriptions are provided for the pairings between the newly released wines and Baby Star.

★ L'Orient Muscat Bailey A 2023 × Baby Star Ramen (Chicken Flavor) / Baby Star Yakisoba (Sauce Flavor)

Brewed using Muscat Bailey A grapes from Yamanashi Prefecture. Featuring a sweet, gorgeous strawberry-like aroma, a vivid ruby color, and a fruit-forward, light drinking profile, this red wine pairs outstandingly well with the flavors of seasonings such as soy sauce and savory sauce!

★ L'Orient Koshu 2023 × Baby Star Ramen (Chicken Flavor) / Baby Star Ramen (Umami Salt Flavor)

Brewed using Koshu grapes from Yamanashi Prefecture. Boasting Koshu's distinctive refreshing citrus aroma, fresh acidity, and a fruity, fruit-rich profile typical of nouveau wine, this white wine pairs wonderfully with dishes that highlight the umami of dashi broth.

These wines are scheduled to be sold at the Yamanashi Wine Marche and the Sakaya Kakuuchi Fest.
