Manns Wines Co., Ltd. has released a limited quantity of “Koshu Cryo Extraction,” a sweet white wine made from Koshu grapes.
It is an 8% alcohol sweet Koshu wine made by young winemakers.
Here are the details.
About “Koshu Cryo Extraction”
“Koshu Cryo Extraction” is a sweet white wine made from Koshu grapes.
Based on ideas from younger staff members, the wine uses a cryo-extraction method to draw out the grapes’ naturally elegant sweetness.
Its floral aroma and light 8% alcohol profile also make it suitable for wine beginners.
Production is limited to 864 bottles, available exclusively through the e-commerce site and Katsunuma Winery.
What It Tastes Like
“Koshu Cryo Extraction” features fruity aromas such as yellow-flower honey, pineapple and white peach.
On the palate, concentrated sweetness is well balanced by refreshing fruit-derived acidity, followed by a pleasant gentle bitterness characteristic of Koshu.
It is a satisfying sweet wine recommended for first-time wine drinkers and people who do not usually drink much wine.
Why not take the opportunity to try this rare release?
