For 3 Days Only from May 26! The "Kuradashi Wine Bar" Appears in Front of Kofu Station!

The "Kuradashi Wine Bar" will appear in front of Kofu Station, offering the chance to compare and taste around 200 brands of Japanese wine that have overwintered and aged.

The event will be held for just three days starting May 26.

Here are the details.

About Kuradashi Wine Bar

Kuradashi Wine Bar was launched in 2013 with the wish that "the natural daily custom of drinking Japanese wine in Japan spreads outward from Yamanashi."

Now, following the COVID-19 pandemic, Kuradashi Wine Bar is returning to the front of Kofu Station for the first time in four years.

It is a rare opportunity to encounter wines of refined quality that are exported to the West, wines with limited production that rarely circulate outside Yamanashi Prefecture, and especially 1.8-liter bottle wines (isshobing wine), an iconic symbol of local production for local consumption.

It is a noteworthy event serving as a showcase for the top seasonal recommendations from wineries within the prefecture.

Details of Kuradashi Wine Bar

At the venue, winemakers, viticulturists, and sommeliers from wineries will be attending the booths.

In addition, students studying wine at Yamanashi University will also be providing service.

A wide variety of local food items will also be available, including pizza, pasta, sausages, local game (gibier), yakitori, and smoked foods.

A popularity vote matching food menus with wine is also scheduled to take place.

Furthermore, terrace seats will be available for reservation, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their wine at a leisurely pace (with waiter service provided).

Let's Celebrate for the First Time in 4 Years!

From spring to early summer, Kofu enjoys plenty of fine weather, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the rich nature as the mountain-climbing season begins.

Be sure to check out the "Kuradashi Wine Bar" held at the plaza in front of Kofu Station, an ideal base for winery tours and accessing Mt. Fuji, the Southern Alps, the Yatsugatake area, and hot spring resorts.
