10th Anniversary Release! Higashikawa Wine “2022 Kitoushi” Now Available!

On December 1, Higashikawa Town in Hokkaido and Higashikawa Promotion Corporation announced the release of Higashikawa Wine “2022 Kitoushi.”

This marks the milestone 10th release.

Here are the details.

About “Kitoushi”

“Kitoushi” is a wine made from 100% fresh grapes grown in Higashikawa, in vineyards on Mt. Kitoushi and on the surrounding plains known as Kitoushi Vineyard. The grapes are slowly fermented and aged with their naturally occurring yeast, resulting in a wine that expresses the fertility of the Kitoushi terroir.

Since the first Higashikawa Wine “2013 Kitoushi” was released on December 1, 2014, a new vintage has been released every December 1. The Higashikawa Wine “2022 Kitoushi,” released on December 1, 2023, is the commemorative 10th release.

Special Gifts at the Event!

Higashikawa Wine “2022 Kitoushi” will also be featured at the Christmas Market in Higashikawa, held on December 9 (Sat) and 10 (Sun).

For each bottle of Higashikawa Wine “2022 Kitoushi” or “2021 Kitoushi” purchased, customers will receive a set containing newly harvested Higashikawa-grown Yumepirika rice and Daisetsu Asahidake spring water.

Be sure to check out Higashikawa Wine at the event as well.
