Katsunuma Jojo Co., Ltd. has announced that, for the first time in about 10 years, it will raise prices on all products except for "Aruga Branca Clareza" and "Argano Clan," starting from April shipments.
The winery will be holding a limited campaign ahead of the price hike from Wednesday, March 1 to Friday, March 31, 2023.

Reason for the Price Increase
As mentioned at the beginning, Katsunuma Jojo Co., Ltd. will raise prices on all products starting from April shipments, with the exception of "Aruga Branca Clareza" and "Argano Clan," marking the first price revision in about 10 years.
According to the winery, the reasons are soaring energy prices driven by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, along with steep rises in the costs of packaging, materials, raw materials, and logistics.
In addition, while the company had kept prices unchanged to avoid placing a burden on consumers amidst difficult economic conditions continuing since 2020 due to COVID-19, corporate cost-reduction efforts reached their limit under the pressure of soaring raw material and crude oil costs.
Deeming it difficult to maintain existing prices, they made the decision to implement this price increase.
About the Campaign
This time, Katsunuma Jojo Co., Ltd. is running a pre-price-hike campaign.
Customers who purchase eligible wine sets totaling 20,000 yen or more (tax included) will receive one complimentary bottle of white wine that has been stored under optimal conditions at the winery.
In addition, to celebrate the winery's renewal reopening scheduled around June, a premium tour limited to 20 pairs will be offered.
The eligible products are as follows:
- "Barrel / TARU Set" ... 3-bottle set of barrel-aged white wines (12,980 yen including tax)
- "Excited Mood ♪ Spring Picnic Set" ... 6-bottle variety set of sparkling, white, and red wines tailored for cherry blossom viewing (17,435 yen including tax)
- "Premium Wine Set" ... 6-bottle red and white set including treasured wines (33,000 yen including tax)
- "Aruga Branca Set" ... 6-bottle set with a gift, including the classic Clareza, Brilhante, and Isehara (22,000 yen including tax)
- "Premium Winery Tour" ... Staff-guided renewal opening winery tour (wine, tasting, tour of new facilities, estate vineyards, and brewing facilities, plus lunch at Ristorante Kaze), recruiting a limited 20 pairs (63,500 yen including tax)
