Two Events to Be Held!
Karuizawa is a highly popular summer retreat with an average August temperature of 22.5°C.
Two events planned by Seibu Realty Solutions Inc. are scheduled for the month.
One is the "Shinshu Craft Beer Festa in Karuizawa 2024," held from August 10 to 12.
Bringing together 11 breweries—the largest scale to date—this event allows visitors to fully enjoy artisanal craft beers born from Shinshu's rich nature and cool climate.
The other is "Grass Site Cinema," which will be held on August 17 and 18.
This is an outdoor cinema event where films such as "Top Gun: Maverick," which was nominated for six Academy Awards at the 95th Oscars including Best Picture, and "Wonka" will be screened on a special outdoor stage.
Enjoy Nagano Wines Too!
For alcoholic beverage enthusiasts, the "Shinshu Craft Beer Festa in Karuizawa 2024" is especially noteworthy.
Eleven breweries producing craft beer in Shinshu, including Karuizawa Brewery, Minami Shinshu Beer, and Kita Alps Brewery, will have stalls.
Furthermore, single-serving cups of red and white wines from Goichi Wine and Izutsu Wine made with grapes from Shinshu Kikyogahara will also be available.
