More about the event
“URBAN VINEYARD KANDA-NISHIKICHO 2022,” a wine combining grapes grown on the rooftop farm of the Terrace Square complex in Kanda Nishikicho, Chiyoda, Tokyo, with grapes from Himi, Toyama Prefecture, has been completed.
The wine was created through the URBAN VINEYARD Project, in which Terrace Square project owners Hakuhodo, Taishukan A.S., Yasuda Real Estate, and Sumitomo Corporation work together with Himi winery SAYS FARM to grow grapes on the rooftop garden and make wine.
Since 2017, the project has held a “one-night-only wine event once a year” at Terrace Square with the aim of building community through wine.
On the day, visitors will have a valuable opportunity to drink the new wine while listening to talks from winery representatives.
Participating wineries are:
• SAYS FARM
• ITAYA farm
• Ven de la bocchi farm & winery
