Amid this excitement, Jetstar Japan has decided to inaugurate a new LCC route between Narita and Asahikawa on December 15, 2023.

About the New Narita–Asahikawa Route
On December 15, 2023, the Narita–Asahikawa service will launch as a new LCC route.
With flights serving Asahikawa, which offers excellent access to various parts of Hokkaido, travelers can combine this route with the Sapporo (New Chitose) service to tour around the prefecture, further enriching Hokkaido journeys starting from Narita Airport.
Furano Wine as Well!
Located in central Hokkaido, Asahikawa is a sightseeing area packed with some of Hokkaido's finest charms.
In addition to colorful flower fields such as Furano's lavender and the magnificent nature of Biei, Furano Wine is also located in the area.
Narita Airport stated that it will continue working to expand its network to provide an even more convenient travel network going forward.
