From Friday, December 1 to Friday, December 22, the “Iwate Wine Fair,” where visitors can enjoy tasting flights of Iwate wine, will be held across 10 venues in Iwate Prefecture.
A special event will also be held on Monday, December 11.

About the “Iwate Wine Fair”
The “Iwate Wine Fair” is an event organized primarily by the Iwate Wine Promotion Council in collaboration with restaurants in the prefecture, aiming to expand the consumption of Iwate wine as well as stimulate demand at restaurants.
At the 10 participating restaurants, guests can enjoy tasting sets of recommended wines from local wineries for a limited time.
A campaign will also be conducted during the fair, in which 13 customers who order a tasting flight at participating restaurants will be selected by lottery to win Iwate wine or Iwate beef.
Special Event Also Held!
As part of the fair, “An Evening Enjoying the Bounty of Iwate Wine, Iwate Beef, and Prefectural Ingredients” will be held on Monday, December 11, at Hotel Metropolitan Morioka NEW WING.
During the evening, local wineries will gather under one roof, allowing guests to thoroughly savor the recommended Iwate wines of each winery, alongside a dinner featuring ingredients produced in the prefecture, including Japan's top-class brand beef, “Iwate Beef.”
Furthermore, participants will receive coupon tickets that can be used during the fair.
