Here are the details.
About the "1st Iizuna-Switzerland Exchange Festival"
The "1st Iizuna-Switzerland Exchange Festival" is an initiative organized by the Swiss Exchange Council, which was established through private-sector leadership in August of last year.
It will be hosted primarily by local apple farmers, town residents growing wine grapes, and local companies and organizations.
In addition to the sale of dishes using Swiss cheese and herbs, as well as Swiss-style sweets, free cheese tastings will be available for the first 200 visitors.
Wine, too!
While it is a Switzerland-focused festival, it is reported that there will also be wine and cider tastings to compare flavors on the day.
You can compare four varieties of wine and cider from Switzerland and Iizuna.
Why not try pairing them with Swiss cheese?
