Yamanashi Prefecture is holding the "Ienaka Museum," an initiative exhibiting artworks created by people with disabilities inside buildings such as public facilities and cafes that local residents use on a daily basis.
This time, an exhibition will also be held at a winery in Yamanashi Prefecture.
Here are the details.
What Is the Ienaka Museum?
The "Ienaka Museum" is a tiny, small museum that opens every month at a facility or shop somewhere within the prefecture.
It is a project organized by Yamanashi Prefecture to help people appreciate the artistic and cultural works of people with disabilities and to promote understanding of individuals with disabilities by displaying their works inside buildings such as public facilities and cafes that residents use regularly.
We hope you will take a small peek through art into the everyday, by no means unusual, activities of people with disabilities.
That is what the "Ienaka Museum" is all about.
