“ICHI En,” operated by ICHI, a private traditional house at the foot of Mt. Fuji where guests can stay with animals, launched a special accommodation plan for cat owners on February 1, 2026. The plan is available year-round.

ICHI values the idea of “not leaving animals behind when we travel.”
While February 22, Cat Day in Japan, provided one inspiration, the plan was designed as a year-round offering so families who live with cats can enjoy travel together regardless of the season.

For wine fans, benefit No. 2 is especially notable.
One bottle per room of cat-label wine from long-established Yamanashi winery Sanyo Jozo will be provided. The winery supports animal-protection activities centered on local rescue groups and volunteers.

• A reassuring layout that separates the movement routes of people and animals
• A completely private, whole-house space where guests need not worry about other visitors
