The program is an accommodation plan by Mito Plaza Hotel that lets guests experience the appeal of Ibaraki in a single day.
The tour visits two producers in Hitachiota, Ibaraki Prefecture: long-established Buryu Winery, with a history of more than 50 years, and KANASAGO Brewery, which emphasizes locally rooted cultivation of its own ingredients.
In addition to special opportunities to learn directly from wine and beer makers, the plan includes the hotel’s signature French dinner, allowing guests to experience Ibaraki’s bounty with all five senses.

Buryu Winery is located in Zuiryu-cho, Hitachiota.
September is the busiest season of the year for wineries and is normally off-limits to outsiders, but this tour offers the rare experience of harvesting and tasting wine grapes—something difficult to experience even in famous European wine regions.
KANASAGO Brewery is a craft brewery born from a new challenge by a landscaping company. On this tour, participants can observe the brewing process up close and experience its aromas and flavors firsthand.
After the tour, guests return to the hotel for a special course at Terrace Restaurant Rose, created exclusively for the occasion.
The menu makes generous use of seasonal Ibaraki ingredients, reinterpreting traditional French cuisine with a contemporary sensibility, and includes wine pairings.
