In Furano City, Hokkaido, two tours proposing a new winter Furano are being held by local businesses and the Local Vitalization Cooperator squad.
The tours will be held starting in February 2024, and applications for participants are currently open.

Two types of tours are planned and hosted this time by local businesses and the Local Vitalization Cooperator squad.

・＜Photo Tour in Winter Furano – Scheduled for March 2024!＞
The former is a special winery tour that visits three wineries in the Furano area by sightseeing bus—which are difficult to access via public transportation—beginning with Furano Wine.
The latter is a tour packed with activities to experience winter Furano with all five senses, including a photoshoot session where you can learn photography techniques from a professional photographer and a snowshoe experience.
About the Winery Tour
Of particular interest to Japanese wine fans is ＜Cold Is a Feast: A 3-Day Winery Tour to Enjoy Furano in Extreme Cold, an Experience Only Possible in Winter＞.
This is a special tour visiting three wineries in the Furano area by sightseeing bus, starting with Furano Wine, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022.
It includes a tour of Furano Wine's underground cellar that is usually closed to the public, creating an original label (etiquette), and touring a snow-covered vineyard.
Furthermore, it is a tour that can only be experienced in Furano, featuring sights such as the Furano Basin viewed from the Furano Ski Resort Ropeway summit station.
