The Fukuyama City Brand Strategy Promotion Council has opened applications for the "10th Fukuyama Brand Certified Products and Registered Activities."
This initiative invites products and activities full of creativity that embody the spirit of Fukuyama, with the application period running from Monday, April 1, 2024 to Friday, June 7, 2024.

About the Fukuyama Brand Certified Products and Registered Activities
The Fukuyama Brand Certified Products and Registered Activities program certifies and registers items with potential for growth and transformation from among the creative products, services, materials, technologies, and initiatives produced in Fukuyama—particularly "those born from unprecedented concepts with technology and passion poured in to realize them," "those that continue to evolve to match the times and needs without resting on tradition and history," and "initiatives with high sustainability from environmental, local, social, and economic perspectives."
Applications are open for products and activities full of creativity that represent Fukuyama.
Japanese wine has also been recognized in the past!
To date, a total of 82 items have been certified and registered under the Fukuyama Brand Certified Products and Registered Activities initiative.
Certified products are registered as return gifts for Fukuyama City's Hometown Tax Donation Program.
In the previous round (the 9th edition), Yamanokyo Wine (Yamanokyo Ota Winery) was also certified.
The application categories are:
1. Products and Services Category: Products commercialized within Fukuyama City or services provided within Fukuyama City
2. Materials and Technologies Category: Materials produced, manufactured, or processed within Fukuyama City, or technologies developed there
3. Registered Activities Category: Community development initiatives and activities aimed at regional revitalization and problem-solving, etc.
