Hotel Metropolitan celebrated its 40th anniversary on Monday, June 2, 2025.
To commemorate the milestone, the hotel is selling wines with original hotel-designed labels.
The anniversary bottles are “Nagano Rouge” and “Nagano Blanc.”

About the 40th Anniversary Bottles
The bottles were created to mark Hotel Metropolitan’s 40th anniversary.
Two wines are available: Nagano Rouge, made primarily from Nagano-grown Cabernet Franc and Merlot, and Nagano Blanc, made from 100% Nagano-grown Chardonnay.
What’s Inside
Nagano Rouge is a medium-bodied red made from grapes grown in Nagano Prefecture.
Based mainly on Cabernet Franc and Merlot, it has a deep ruby color, aromas of blackberry and dark cherry, ample oak character and underlying spice.
The palate is rounded, opening into ripe-fruit flavors and a smooth, pleasant finish.
Nagano Blanc is a white wine made from 100% Nagano-grown Chardonnay.
After roughly 10 months of aging in French oak, the wine was repeatedly blended to achieve a pronounced yet balanced oak aroma, a rounded mouthfeel and a pleasant fruit-driven finish.
It has a bright lemon-yellow appearance, with sweet aromas reminiscent of ripe pear and white flowers rising from the glass alongside soft oak notes.
Sales begin Friday, August 1, 2025 and continue while supplies last.
The wines can also be enjoyed at restaurants inside the hotel.
