Nao Hoshino: Active across diverse fields
She is a wonderful woman with a dignified presence.
In addition to being an actress, Nao Hoshino holds another title, also working as a Food & Drink Selector (hereafter FDS).
An FDS handles the coordination and styling of food used on production sets, and sometimes even the cooking itself.
She also devises pairings of various alcoholic beverages and appetizers used on set.
As an expressive artist, she thrives both as a performer and on the production side.
Nao Hoshino and Japanese Wine
While Nao Hoshino is knowledgeable about many types of alcoholic beverages, she says that she is currently paying great attention to Japanese wine as well.
"Delicious Japanese wines are increasing rapidly, and above all, I find the wide variety of wine styles fascinating.
Being able to encounter such a diverse range of distinctive wines right here in Japan is truly appealing.
I really want many people to discover how to enjoy them!" says Ms. Hoshino.
Expectations are high for the kind of wine life she will share with us moving forward.
Appearing at Vin Japonais Fes 2022 as well!
