Taste Five Wineries in “Hokkaido TEA Wine Grape Leaf Tea 2024,” Available for Preorder from April 4

PATTERN PLANNING Co., Ltd. began accepting preorders for “Hokkaido TEA Wine Grape Leaf Tea 2024” on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Here are the details.

About Hokkaido TEA

Hokkaido TEA began with a casual conversation with wine-grape growers: “Could we make use of grape leaves that would otherwise simply be returned to the soil?”

It is a non-alcoholic tea made from healthy leaves grown in Hokkaido vineyards and designed to be enjoyed much like wine.

About “Hokkaido TEA Wine Grape Leaf Tea 2024”

The 2024 edition was produced as Hokkaido TEA with the cooperation of five wineries and vineyards.

Yoichi Town

- Yoichi Noborin Farm (Mongaku Valley Winery)

Recommended for first-time drinkers. It offers a good balance between the acidity typical of Hokkaido TEA and fresh green flavors.

- Domaine Takahiko

Particularly mellow acidity, with a clean, refreshing profile both hot and iced.

- Jiki no Hatake

A tannin-like texture and a vinous, macerated character. Richly flavored and well balanced.

- Yamada-do

The fruitiest of the five, with acidity, grape-like character and a fresh green note.

Niseko Town

- Niseko Winery

Gentle acidity and a soft, mellow flavor, recommended even for people who do not especially enjoy tartness.

For those buying the winery-specific products sold in 100 g units, the producer also recommends consulting the TASTE MAP.
