From Wednesday, May 14 through Tuesday, May 20, the first “Hokkaido Wine Fair” and “Northern Sweets Fair” will be held at the Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza official Hokkaido antenna shop and adjacent event space on the second floor of the Tower Building at Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store.
Here are the details.
“Hokkaido Wine Fair” and “Northern Sweets Fair”
The “Hokkaido Wine Fair” will feature around 70 wines from five areas of Hokkaido, a vast region home to numerous wineries.
A bar counter supervised by Hokkaido-based senior sommelier Masahisa Abe will appear at the venue, allowing visitors to compare Hokkaido wines alongside snacks such as cheese.
At the same time, the “Northern Sweets Fair,” a promotional event for the 28th National Confectionery Exposition in Hokkaido beginning Friday, May 30, will start selling exposition products outside Hokkaido for the first time.
Through the events, Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store, which houses Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza, will share the appeal of Hokkaido products and the upcoming “Asahikawa Kashi-haku 2025.”
