From Friday, May 24 to Sunday, May 26, "Henai Yokocho" will be held at Shinjuku Kabukicho Cine City Square and Shinjuku Kabuki-hall ~ Kabuki Yokocho.
The menu reportedly includes unique items made using Koshu wine.

What is the "Obsession Menu"?
The "Obsession Menu" is an event held as part of the "Wotona Kichi Project," which aims to attract and nurture the next generation of fans.
Supporting the way of life of "adults who are passionate about something and live each day enthusiastically," it offers a deep, new-sensory alley-style festival where visitors can passionately talk about what they love in a world of maximum devotion.
At the booths representing the one metropolis and nine prefectures (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki, Gunma, Tochigi, Yamanashi, Nagano, and Shizuoka) where Maruhan East Japan operates, "Obsession Producers" with ties to each area take the lead to serve exclusive three-day-only "Obsession Menus" developed and curated with inspiration from local specialties and regional products, which can only be tasted on these days at this location.
A full lineup of unique obsession menus born from deep passion will be available.
Dishes Using Koshu Wine Too!
The menu items offered this time are truly diverse.
Ibaraki Prefecture will offer items specializing in melons, Gunma Prefecture will feature fried chicken, and Saitama Prefecture will showcase menu items featuring "the weeds from around there," which became a hot topic in movies.
Furthermore, the booth for Yamanashi Prefecture, the wine prefecture, will offer a menu devoted to French fries.
Amazingly, items such as deep-fried Koshu wine trout, Koshu wine beef potato snacks, Koshu white wine, and Koshu white wine & Belgian beer cocktails are also set to be offered.
It is an event that even Japanese wine enthusiasts will appreciate.
