The Hakuba Village Tourism Bureau will once again hold multiple events around Golden Week, from Saturday, April 26 through Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Japanese wine fans will especially want to note “HAKUBA Wine Marché — Wine and Music in Hakuba,” scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11.

About the Golden Week Events
The Hakuba Village Tourism Bureau is once again organizing Golden Week events this year.
On the first day of Golden Week, a simultaneous slope clean-up event called “Slope Clean Act.” will be held at five ski resorts in the village to clean the slopes that have welcomed skiers and snowboarders for around five months.
On Sunday, May 4, a traditional event, the 46th Salt Road Festival, will also be held, with participants walking along approximately 10 kilometers of the historic Salt Road.
Then, on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, “HAKUBA Wine Marché — Wine and Music in Hakuba” will celebrate the opening of Hakuba's green season with an outdoor event where visitors can enjoy wine together with jazz and other music.
About the Wine Event
“HAKUBA Wine Marché — Wine and Music in Hakuba” is an outdoor event marking the start of the green season.
Visitors can enjoy wine, music, and local cuisine in the pleasant fresh greenery of Hakuba. Wineries and cider producers from across Nagano Prefecture will gather, offering guests a chance to enjoy their drinks in special wine glasses.
Jazz and other music performances, as well as craft shops, are also planned.
Participating wineries include DOMAINE HIROKI (Ikeda), Northern Alps Vineyards (Omachi), and Le Milieu (Akashina), among others.
