The Hakuba Village Tourism Bureau will once again hold multiple events around Golden Week, from Saturday, April 26 through Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Among them, “HAKUBA Wine Marche — Wine and Music in Hakuba,” scheduled for the weekend of May 10–11, is a must-see for Japanese wine fans.

About the Golden Week Events
The Hakuba Village Tourism Bureau is holding Golden Week events again this year.
On the first day of Golden Week, the simultaneous slope clean-up event “Gelande Clean Act.” will take place at five ski resorts in the village, cleaning the slopes that hosted skiers and snowboarders for around five months.
On Sunday, May 4, the traditional 46th Shio-no-Michi Festival will also take place, with participants walking around 10 kilometers along the historic Salt Road.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, May 10–11, “HAKUBA Wine Marche — Wine and Music in Hakuba” will celebrate the opening of Hakuba’s green season with an outdoor event where visitors can enjoy wine alongside jazz and other music.
About the Wine Event
“HAKUBA Wine Marche — Wine and Music in Hakuba” is an outdoor event marking the start of the green season.
Visitors can enjoy wine, music and local food amid Hakuba’s fresh spring greenery. Wineries and cideries from across Nagano Prefecture will gather, with drinks served in special wine glasses.
Jazz and other music, along with craft shops, will also be featured.
Participating wineries include DOMAINE HIROKI in Ikeda, Northern Alps Vineyards in Omachi, and Le Milieu in Akashina.
