Gunma Yamaiku DAO to Hold Natural-Wine Grape Seedling Planting Event in Numata on June 29!

Natural-wine project Gunma Yamaiku DAO is drawing growing attention.

As an on-site project event, a grape-seedling planting experience limited to members and prospective members will be held in Numata, Gunma on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

Here are the details.

Aiming to Build Real-World Community

Gunma Yamaiku DAO is more than a wine-production and sales project. Through events, it creates opportunities for members to visit Gunma and the Tone-Numata area in person and works to build a community of people with deeper, real-world ties to the region.

The June 29 grape-seedling planting experience is intended as a symbolic part of that effort.

Participants will plant vines with leading figures in Japan's natural-wine scene.

The project believes that touching the soil and taking part in the work firsthand will deepen both the emotion of eventually tasting the finished wine and participants' attachment to the region.

People considering investment can also join first as prospective members.

It begins at 10:30 on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
