About “Sendai Gozain Marche”
“Sendai Gozain Marche” is an event held by the Sendai Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support PR for "new products and new services" of local businesses and to conduct test marketing involving customers.
While "joint press conferences" have been held for the media in the past, it was decided to hold this new project as a lively event involving the general public in order to collect direct feedback from customers and cultivate a place where the initiatives of each store can be covered by the media.
A New Winery Will Also Open a Booth!
12 businesses will participate in the event.
Among the variety of businesses offering soba, curry, confections, dyed souvenirs, stone-baked sweet potatoes, and more, the highlight for Japanese wine fans this time is MARS Co., Ltd.'s “good'ay winery”.
Having begun activities in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture in 2022, it is a winery that does not yet have its own brewing facility, but while searching for candidate sites for its own vineyard and winery, it is an up-and-coming winery that produced its first wine via custom crush for the 2022 season.
