On Sunday, February 12, 2023, "GI Nagano Wine Fes 2023 ~YES WINE! YES LIFE!~" will be held at Hotel Metropolitan Nagano, 3F Asama (directly connected to JR Nagano Station).
NAGANO WINE FES, which had been held annually in Tokyo from 2014 to 2020, makes its return this time in Nagano City.

A Wine Festival Packed with the Essence of Nagano!
As mentioned at the beginning, NAGANO WINE FES was a wine festival held every year in Tokyo from 2014 to 2020.
However, a period followed during which it was difficult to hold the festival as before, due to cancellations amid the spread of coronavirus infections, or having to pivot to online events when it was held.
This time, however, it is finally making a comeback, set in Nagano City.
Around 100 wines from approximately 32 producers will be featured, ranging from wineries that produce GI Nagano certified wines to those currently aiming for certification.
In addition, dishes made with top-quality ingredients by skilled artisans from Nagano Prefecture—such as cheese, prosciutto, bread, and edible insects—will also be served.
You can enjoy not only the flavors of Nagano wine, but also pairings with local Nagano ingredients.

It will be held in two sessions: Part 1 as a trade tasting for trade professionals, and Part 2 as a public tasting for general attendees.
A rare wine festival where you can discover what is happening right now in the highly acclaimed Nagano wine scene.

◯ General Public Tasting: 8,000 yen (standing style, free-pour tasting of approx. 100 wines from 32 wineries, includes 3 food dishes)
Target: General consumers (Part 1: 12:00–14:00 / Part 2: 17:00–19:00, 200 participants per session, 400 total)

The wine lineup differs between the trade tasting and the general public tasting. Trade professionals who are interested are warmly encouraged to purchase a ticket and participate in both.
