The Komoro Tourism Bureau General Incorporated Association is holding the "Komoro Terroir" cycling tour.
This is a unique cycling tour on power-assisted bicycles themed around the rich land at the foot of Mount Asama, the lives of the local people, and gastronomy.

About the "Komoro Terroir" Cycling Tour
The "Komoro Terroir" cycling tour is a guided tour designed to take time and leisurely enjoy landscapes and views that might be missed by car, while feeling the autumn wind and scents of Komoro on a bicycle.
In terms of gastronomy, participants can enjoy experiences that allow them to taste the autumn delicacies nurtured by the land of Komoro and feel the enduring history that created the landscape through interactions with the people involved in cultivating it.

Two tours have been organized for the "Komoro Terroir" cycling tour.
(1) Tour: "Exploring the Mimakigahara Plateau that Nurtures High-Quality Wine and Having a Banh Mi Lunch in the Vineyard"
(2) Tour: "Enjoying the Magnificent View of the Saku Plain Spreading Below and Tea Time in an Apple Orchard at the Foot of Mount Asama"
(1) is a press invitation tour visiting "Gio Hills Winery," a winery located on the Mimakigahara plateau in southern Komoro City.
Participants will visit the vineyards of this winery, which continues to produce high-quality wine, and listen to stories about their winemaking.
After enjoying mountain views by bicycle, the plan features enjoying a special banh mi (sandwich) from Gio Hills Winery in the vineyard.
(2) is open to the general public, set at Ringoya SUKEGAWA, where participants learn about various apple varieties, daily orchard work, and their passion for apples.
Naturally, tea time surrounded by apples is prepared at the end of the tour.
