On Friday, February 14, the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project will host a Furano wine tasting in the lobby lounge of Fairfield by Marriott Hokkaido Minamifurano.
The special program is a collaboration with the Furano City Grape and Fruit Research Institute in Furano, Hokkaido.

About the Furano Wine Tasting
The event is organized by the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project in collaboration with the Furano City Grape and Fruit Research Institute.
A prize drawing for event participants is also planned, with prizes including wine and hotel accommodation vouchers.
Program Details
The tasting will include Perle Blanche, a sparkling wine with a well-balanced combination of moderate acidity and fruit, and Shinshu Furano White, a nouveau wine made from Irsai Oliver, Furano’s earliest-ripening grape variety, characterized by floral and Muscat-like aromas.
Guests can also taste several Furano wines free of charge, including the full-bodied representative wine Zweigeltrebe Red.
A paid appetizer box suited to the wines will also be available, including Furano plain cheese, cream cheese wrapped in prosciutto with dried Minamifurano tomato, and Ezo venison sausage.
