About this project
The digital art and illuminations being held this time are carried out as part of the Isawa Onsen Revitalization Project, organized and planned by the Fuefuki City Tourism and Commerce Division.
Their production and construction are being carried out by VLOO LLC.
"Art of Light Created by Everyone"
"Art of Light Created by Everyone" is a projection mapping event held at Fuefuki Minna no Hiroba, which was just completed on November 20, 2021.
Images are projected onto 3 sides of the NTT-owned building located on the south side of the facility.
On the large roof designed by Ippei Takahashi, one of Japan's leading architects, videos created with designs related to Fuefuki City and Yamanashi Prefecture, as well as coloring pictures drawn by children from 21 nursery schools, are also projected.
You can appreciate beautiful digital art on a midwinter night.
"Sakura Onsen Street Illumination: Shining Wine Street"
True to its name, "Sakura Onsen Street Illumination: Shining Wine Street" is a wine-related illumination that wine fans must not miss.
Using about 600 wine bottles befitting the wine kingdom of Yamanashi, a fantastical space is created.
Furthermore, in the area named "Grape Trellis of Light," grape trellises—a familiar sight in Yamanashi, where wine is a local industry—are recreated with illuminations.
In addition, the photo spot in this illumination area, featuring sculptures appropriate for a city of grapes and wine, also features a grand arched structure, the "Arch of Excitement," which is an unmissable highlight.
In addition, with illuminations utilizing wine barrels, water screens, and more, you can enjoy presentations befitting a wine kingdom in various spots.

Visit wineries during the day, and after a dinner where you can enjoy Yamanashi wine, take a walk while admiring the illuminations.
