“Unique Encounters with Alcohol — Sake Hinata” has released “Ebi Furya Aunen White.”
It is the second wine made specifically for fried shrimp, following the popular sparkling wine “Ebi Furya Aunen Trocken 2024.”
Here are the details.
What Is “Ebi Furya Aunen White”?
“Ebi Furya Aunen White” is described as a “white wine in love with fried shrimp,” made generously with Japanese grapes.
It was created to enhance both the crisp coating and the plump, savory shrimp, and is also said to pair exceptionally well with lemon, sauce and tartar sauce.
What’s in “Ebi Furya Aunen White”
The wine is based primarily on Koshu, Yamanashi Prefecture’s signature grape, with Muscat Bailey A adding body and popular Shine Muscat blended in as well.
It is described as a white wine made from an “all-Yamanashi” lineup of leading grape varieties.
As befits a wine from renowned Yamanashi, it offers generous ripe-grape fruit character.
When well chilled, it is said to be an excellent match for piping-hot fried shrimp.
Why not enjoy this pairing of fried shrimp and Japanese wine?
