From January through February 2024, the nighttime aquarium festival “AOAO NIGHT” will be held at the urban aquarium “AOAO SAPPORO” in Sapporo's Tanukikoji district.
The event will also offer opportunities to enjoy Hokkaido wine.

About “AOAO NIGHT”
“AOAO NIGHT” is a nighttime aquarium festival planned by “AOAO SAPPORO.”
Held a total of six times, the event is intended to propose a new way to enjoy the aquarium.
“AOAO SAPPORO,” which promotes the concept of the “wonder of life,” will collaborate with artists connected to Hokkaido in fields including art, music and rakugo. Guests can enjoy performances themed around “cycles” and “flow” while eating and drinking, with Hokkaido wine and hors d'oeuvres made primarily with Hokkaido ingredients in hand. It is a special nighttime event available only this winter.
The program offers completely new content unlike anything previously held.

“AOAO NIGHT” is limited to 50 people each day and will take place with exclusive use of the “Blue Room” on the aquarium's sixth floor.
Participation benefits include two glasses of various Hokkaido wines, hors d'oeuvres centered on Hokkaido ingredients, and a plain croissant from “Shirokuma Bakery &.”
Depending on the date, guests can also enjoy unique programs such as music, rakugo and calligraphy events.
